‘Celebrate with me because I’ve found my lost sheep.’ —Luke 15:6
This week we read that Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd.” He talks about how the sheep know the shepherd and the shepherd knows and cares for the sheep. We might not really understand that because most of us don’t know any shepherds. But we can think of the way a loving parent cares for a child or the way you might take care of a pet you love.
In your prayer time, thank God for all the ways God cares for you and protects you. Thank God for the people who take care of you each day.

Name some of the people (in all the stages of your life) who have given love and care to you. Who has searched you out and brought you closer to where God wants you to be?
