Greeters
The greeters welcome everyone in Christian love. it is the desire of Sterling United Methodist Church that all feel truly welcomed with a sincere spirit of warmth and joy, creating a lasting impression and reminder of Jesus' love.
Ushers
Ushers extend an invitation to "come and see" what Jesus has to offer as we gather together as the community of faith. They share hospitality to all who enter our doors. Beyond welcoming everyone into the sanctuary ushers distribute programs, assist in seating, collect offering, guide congregation for communion, and gather pewpads.
Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteers for Greeters and Ushers are always needed. Greeters and Ushes typically rotate every four to eight weeks depending on the number of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer as a Greeter or Usher please contact the Church office at 703.430.6455.
