Let’s make SUMC more beautiful for Easter. The Board of Trustees is sponsoring a Church Work Day on Saturday, March 25, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. There are several projects being planned. Probably more than possible for one day, but they are all needed projects and we wanted to have a variety of projects to appeal to different members and skill levels. Please sign-up for the project of your choice.
This includes:
Gardening – 5 to 10 Volunteers Needed
- The flower beds at both the front and rear entrances
- Around the sign on Church Road
- Playground
Painting – 3 to 5 Volunteers Needed
- Bathrooms in the Jacobus Center.
- Staining the cross and bench by the lower parking lot entrance
- Touch-up paint in the Narthex
Cleaning – 2 to 5 Volunteers Needed
- Doors and windows in the Narthex.
- The kitchen
- Classrooms
Building a new gate for the dumpster enclosure – 1 to 4 Volunteers Needed
