Children’s Christmas Program
Every year, the SterlingKids Choir produces a Children’s Christmas Program and this year is no different! They will be performing CAKE: Christmas Acts of Kindness Experiment by Jeff and Dana Anderson and cannot wait to share all of their hard work with the community on Sunday, December 22 at 9:00am. The program is directed by Stephanie Perhach with musical direction by Jack Layne and with about 15 children in the cast this year, it is sure to be an exciting (and adorable) performance.
Throughout CAKE: Christmas Acts of Kindness Experiment, a group project becomes much more to a group of kids than they could have ever imagined. Join along as they embark on an exciting experiment that will change the way they experience Christmas forever. God’s kindness proves his love for us and is at the root of every detail of the Christmas story! In this production, you will enjoy class Christmas songs while also learning about the true meaning of Christmas.
This musical is designed to empower kids and their families to participate in acts of kindness throughout the Christmas season. The SterlingKids program has taken on this challenge by creating dog toys to donate to the local shelter and by collecting canned food through a reverse advent calendar, as shown below.
The musical this year has truly been an immersive experience for all those involved and will hopefully bring joy, laughter and love to those who view it. Join SterlingKids Choir on Sunday, December 22 at 9:00am for the performance and to experience the magic yourself!
