Christmas at Sterling

Do you have plans for Christmas Eve yet? Not sure where to take the family or just looking for a place to celebrate with neighbors?

Join Sterling UMC for one of three Candlelight and Communion Christmas Eve Services this year! There are services held at 7:00, 9:00 and 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24. Whether you would like to come early and enjoy a service with childcare provided or you would like to ring in Christmas day with a late night service, there is something for you and your family at Sterling UMC this Christmas.

Each Christmas Eve service will feature communion and a candlelight portion with traditional choral music at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. and more contemporary style music at 11:00 p.m. Childcare will be provided from 6:45 to 8:00 p.m. No matter which service you would like to check out this year, it is sure to be a joyful celebration of God’s love and the birth of Jesus.

Then, on Christmas morning, the Sterling UMC Missions Committee will be holding the annual Shepherd’s Run. Everyone will gather at the church at 9:30 a.m. and then head out to bring baked goods to first responders in the community serving us on Christmas Day. If you are unable to come but would still like to participate, baked goods can be dropped off at the church on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning.
