Bring your beloved pets and join us for a special Pet Blessing at Sterling UMC!
All creatures great and small are welcome as we gather to give thanks for the joy and companionship that pets bring into our lives. This service is a beautiful opportunity to celebrate God’s creation and receive a special blessing for your furry (or feathered, or scaly) friends.
We will also be collecting food to donate to the Loudoun County Animal Shelter, so please bring a donation of unopened pet food of any kind.
What to Expect:
- A short service outdoors with prayers of thanksgiving for our animal companions.
- Individual blessings for each pet.
- A time of fellowship with other pet owners.
- Water stations and treats for your pets.
Please ensure that all pets are properly leashed, crated, or contained for their safety and the safety of others. If your pet is unable to attend, feel free to bring a photo to receive a blessing on their behalf.
Let’s come together as a community to celebrate the love and joy of our pets while acknowledging the sacredness of all God’s creatures.
