It is hard to believe, but the Sunday after Thanksgiving is the first Sunday of Advent! That means its time to deck our church halls!
After our worship service on Sunday, November 20th, we will be decorating SUMC for the Christmas Season! We are hoping that lots of people will be able to stay and enjoy this traditional time of fellowship and service to our church as we prepare for one of our busiest and most Holy seasons! (and yeah…probably untangle some lights…but its more fun with friends!)
As we decorate, we will also be having lunch and hosting a Cookie Contest! Bring in your favorite holiday cookie AND the recipe to share with your church family!
