Jack Layne

I was a small town country boy that grew up in a town with a flashing light.   Since September 2017 I have been with you in my role with the Music Department.  My job has changed as we have walked together the past six years.  We have seen change with the transitioning of the world and being able to flex to the direction we as a church are traveling.  Take a gamble to actually step back and see, hear what this church is doing and what it can do.  Through all my highs and lows there is a constant thread I cling to, Hope.  It’s here at Sterling UMC bright and shining, you just have to open your eyes to see it.
