Dr. Willis Rosenfeld, Director of Music Ministries, oversees the music program at Sterling UMC, including directing the Aldersgate Choir and leading the Contemporary Worship Team. He has been part of the music staff at SUMC since 2005 and loves being a part of this church family.
Willis earned his Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting from George Mason University in May 2025. He also holds a B.A. in Music from George Mason University, a Graduate Certificate in Education from Regent University, and a Master’s in Choral Conducting from Messiah University.
Outside of SUMC, Willis serves as the choir director at Loudoun County High School. He loves leading music each week alongside his wife, Sharon—an active member of the choir, leader in the Worship Team, and Director of Communications for Sterling Church. They have two boys, Danny and Ezra.
